Jim Paredes: the PDA Headmaster

Jim Paredes, the other third of the successful APO Hiking Society, has been "appointed" as the headmaster of ABS-CBN's new show, Pinoy Dream Academy. It's already been a while since Mr. Paredes had a regular TV show - the last I think was the noontime show "Sang Linggo na po Sila", also shown on the same channel in the 90s. After that, Paredes busied himself in photography and has been writing articles about the art in a weekly column in Manila Bulletin. Last February, he, along with his family, migrated to Australia. He went back to the Philippines to take the responsibility of honing the students of Pinoy Dream Academy to become stars.

    Jim Paredes is the best choice as headmaster for Dream Academy. he is true to his art and form and talent and made good with them. I hope however that ABS-CBN will add more dimension to this show as not to make this one those a run-of-the mill reality TV filled with nonsensical trifles. Our young generation of Filipinos need role models and ideas on how to make their dreams a reality -- not only to become celebrities but to develop social conscience as to contribute in making real positive difference in our soceity even through art and music as Mr. Paredes had done.

    Jimmy kahit noon pa idol na kita kaya lang naiinis ako sa yo at sa mga kasama mo na mga teacher kasi everytime na nano-nominate si pangit na Rosita palagi nyo syang sini-save masyado naman kayong unfair, alam naman ng lahat ng normal na tao na si ugly Rosita dapat ang unang na-expelled pero you'd rather expelle someone na may karapatan kaysa sa kanya. Masisira ang kredibilidad mo at ng mga teacher if you guys continue saving ugly Rosita. Please mag-isip isip naman kayo!!!!
