Chad, This Week's Star Scholar
I can't help but make a post regarding Chad being the Star Scholar for this Week. He got an average score of 9.3 from the jurors.Early last week, when I heard that he's gonna sing Freddie Aguilar's "Anak", I was quite pessimistic for Chad. It is hard to sing a classic like "Anak." When you sing such songs, you should either make a perfect copy of the original version or opt to gamble with a version of your own. Either way, pwede kang lamunin ng kanta. A song like "Anak" has a life of its own. Really.
The main problem with singing these type of songs is that you will always be compared with the original singer. Kung hindi mo nagaya iyong song perfectly just as the first interpreter did, magmumukha ka lang parang nagbi-videoke. Kung hindi naman maganda ang version mo, sasabihin nilang sinira mo lang ang kanta.
What Chad did was exceptional! A new flavor to a classic song. Just like what Eugene Villaluz said, "He made the song as if his own." Di siya nalamon ng kanta. He really deserves being a Star Scholar this week.
P.S. And thank God! Finally, Chad listen to Direk Jose Reyes. Nasabi kasi dati ni Direk na ang gwapo-gwapo ng mukha ni Chad pero pinapapangit niya during his performances. Ini-exaggerate niya kasi facial expressions niya. This time he finally tapped one of his greater assets - his face.

We really can not understand why the Monkey Rosita is always saved. One reason may be is, the school needs a KATULONG. One advice, do not wear sexy cloths, nag mumukhang cheap yung cloths, ang kapal ng mukha mo PANGIT.
Rosita please lang umalis ka na dyan, huwag mo na hintayin mag-people power para matanggal ka dyan. You ang a threat to the entertainment industry, baka dumami ang PANGIT. WE hope you are impotent, kawawa naman ang magiging anak mo.
Chad deserved to be named Star Scholar of the week. He really gave justice to the immortal song "Anak". He really sang it like his own. Based on the performances of the scholars the boys have a great edge over the girls with the exception of Panky. Chad, Yvan, Eman, Ronnie, Jay-R, Davey would really be part of the last 6. You could really see the real spirit in them when they perform.
I love Chad, his sense of humor, his goodlook, and his voice. And if these did not prompt me to get a membership card to his fan club, his rendition of Anak did.

Thank God, napansin na din si Chad sa wakas. He is really talented and dedicated to his work.I really hope na magtagal sya sa Academy..At, pwede ba, hindi sya CONCEITED no!, unlike yung ibang mga scholars na may attitude problem.Goodluck Chad.

He didn't frown this week and he sang badly. Leave him alone. We love him no matter WHAT he does to his face. I think he looks dreamy and intense when he frowns *SIGH*

Just an observation.... bakit ang dumi-dumi ng paligid ng mga scholars na yan... parang walang silang natututuhan na disiplina sa sarili...they are not doing a good examples buti pa yon mga nauna pinoy big brothers makikita mo na malinis ang paligid di ba cleanliness is nxt to godliness...pakisabihin maglinis naman sila nakakaalibadbad manuod!!!!
Chad is the epitome of the academy, a well breed person and intellegent, yet so cool and down to earth. He shows superb leadership, firm with his words and sympathetic. This guy will go a long long way Good Bro!
Wondering why it is being called an Academy when in fact your teachers or headmaster did not act on the principles of rewarding students with good standing, such the case of Chai, whom despite having the highest grades has been evicted. Isnt it students with highest grades are honored and those who has the lowest grades or did not pass the standards are expelled. Ask this to those stupid teachers. Secondly, why do you call them scholars if in return you will expel the best scholar academically based on the midterms. At least the teachers must have a logical mind to save those who have excelled if they would live with the meaning of being an academy. Thirdly, if the reason would be since she did not made good in practical application. What can they say to those who are still there who were nomanated 4x already as compared to a few nominations. Isnt it unfair. The program is good, however, the rules needs to be improved and the decision should not rest with the teachers who don't have a logical mind. They must do a brainstorming rather than agree on ones opinion. Surely, if they did the brainstorm, there would be one who has a logical mind to oppose not to save the one who excelled in the midterms, though having two nominations. Fourthly, if they would say that it's okay to expel Chai or Iya since they don't stand a chance to be on the top six, well that is not a good reason since you have destroyed already the pride of deserving students. Lastly, don't use "Academy" and "Scholars" since you're way off its meaning, you defeat your purpose, what you're showing now is plain "negosyo". Retaining "Ingliseras" to strengthen your network in those areas where they came from in like manner with Rosita from Arab country, tho' it's too obvious that one or two of them don't even deserve to pass the audition. Your head master came from a good University, where i came too, please tell him to act like one.
