Iya Gines, the scholar from Pangasinan, becomes the seventh scholar to go out of the Academy.Last night, Michelle, the one from Amsterdam, was put in a difficult situation after nominated for the 4th time. If her performance would be in the bottom four last night, she would automatically booted out. But fortunately, she impressed the jurors, getting a score of 7.4. Irish, on the other hand, was saved by the texters; Yvan by the teachers; and, Michelle by her co-scholars with 9-3 vote.

Ang ganda ng performance ni Iya at may maganda ring comments from Freddie Aguilar last night. Talagang mas maganda ang boses ni Iya at hindi tulad ni Mich hindi nya dapat gawing career ang singing, sabi nga ni Vernie Varga, dahil basag ang boses nya. Hindi naging maganda at very disappointing ang result last night. Naliligtas lang ng friends at nagiging tropa2 ang labanan, nawala na iyong kung sino ba ang talagang magaling. Kapag ganyan ng ganyan, tatanggapin ba ng ABS-CBN na ang matira ay iyong malakas sa texters at may mga tropa sa loob ng PDA? Nakakawalang gana nang panoorin ang PDA!

Compare sa Pinoy Big Brother mas gusto ko ang PDA. Sa PBB puro pa cute lang at wala namang mga talent, hindi tulad sa PDA. Kaya lang sa nangyari kagabi nawala na rin iyon kasi dahil dyan sa klase ng botohan nila natalo ng poor performer ang one of the best performer. Itanong nyo kay Ka Freddie kung sino ang magaling sa kanilang dalawa.

Competition na talaga ang nasa isip ng mga scholars isang malaking threat kasi si iya kaya sya na vote out. Mas malayong maganda ang performance ni iya kesa kay michelle last night. Wala nang quality ang program kung ang mga matitira puro walang karapatang kumanta. Dapat si iya ang naiwan kagabi kasi ang pangit ng boses ni michelle o kaya si Irish nalang kasi pangit ugali nya and she is a BITCH!!!!!!!!!
I'm not really a fan of Iya but last night's voting was very unfair. nawawalan na nga rin ako ng ganang manood.

iya doesnt deserve to be in the academy.they are inside the academy to study and to succeed nde para magboyfriend diba?if i was her dad, yes id definitely feel bad, but i should understand.how can u be the best scholar if people around u doesnt like u? attitude comes together with being successful and being popular. kung ngayon pa lng nde na gusto ng mga tao sa paligid nya ang attitude nya, wat more pa pag sikat na cya? oh well, buti n lng wla n cya sa academy. i can watch pleasantly na without being bothered by her mushyness with JR.
The scholars should be instructed by their "masters" to base their choice of the deserving scholar according to who they honestly think has the vocal prowess. Ano ba yan? Everybody knows that Iya can sing and perform way far better than Mich na niligtas lang dahil mas mapolitika sa mga kasama!!! My 10 year old daughter sings better than Mich. Pagewang-gewang ang boses, ni walang touch of vibrato , andaming flats kundi sharp at dinaan lang sa pagngiti..pa-lease!!!! I think Iya's being voted out lst Saturday is utterly unfair!!!! hindi na kami manonood ng PDA. Boung family namin dito sa new Jersey USA. Baka kse sa huli yang Michelle pa na yan ang maging winner.

iya is 101times better than michelle! michelle sings out of tune.the scholars must vote on the one who sounds & performs better,hindi dahil crush or kaibigan nila. michelle does not have any feelings when she sings!
Hi I commend the producers of the show. It was nice that they had a local version. Although I am disappointed and disgusted of the result. As i read some of the comments I agree to most of them. The girl that was voted out was way much better than the other one!!!! Please!!! HER singing was thru nasal not from her voice box i may add!!! and its obvious the way the voting was thru friendship... i just feel sorry for the girl who was voted out because she was not popular among the scholars.... And correct me if im wrong-to the producers, teachers and other judges- you have a ruling that if the scholar is nominated for the fifth time he/she will be automatically voted out right? If ever on saturday you will have 2 candidate could be possibly sent home???? For me the decision of scholars is right.Pwedeng i reason nila ay isang treat si iya sa kanila bec. iya has a good voice,but hindi porket maganda voice mo yun na lang dapat mahusay at marunong ka rin makisama sa kapwa mo.ang sinalihan nila a 1 competition at isa lang aim nila ang manalo.In fairness to michelle kahit paano maganda rin voice niya at pinakita nya yun sa pagtitiyaga nyang matuto at nag improved sya and aside sa blessings sa kanya na maganda na sya at mabait pa.Kailangan din sa tao ang kagandahang asal.Yun ang wala kay iya, hindi sya nagpaka tutoo sa sarili nya halatang maingat at plastic sya.Kay JR lang sya true sa sarili nya.Its a lesson from Iya. Mismo ako nakasubaybay sa 24/7 ng pda kaya halos lahat na observe ko, and in fact si iya ang isa sa bet ko dahil nagagandahan ako sa voice nya.Siguro dapat baguhin ni iya ang ugali nya dahil miso ako napanuod ko kung paano magmura si iya sa 24/7 at hindi marunong makisama sa mga scholars nya kitang kita na may ingit siya sa kapwa nya which is important sa isang tao ang kagandahang asal malas lang talaga siya at d kasalanan ng scholars na di bumoto sa kanya dahil karapatan nila kung sino gusto nila. in fact maganda rin si Iya at di rin siya talo kay michelle nagkataon na maganda na ay mabait pa si michelle at si Iya lumalabas na antipatika dating nya.

Very sad ang naging result, kasi unlike the other previous expulsions na medyo mahirap malaman kung sino ang ma-out, kagabi the moment na si Mich at iya ang natira..ALAM mo na agad na si Iya ang ma-e-expel. im not fan of iya nor mitch but im watching the pda coz its a good show, but last 7th probation is not good decision making iya left the academy. she performed well that night but most of the scholars chose her to be out coz they dont like her....but scholars think again ur there because u got the voice not because u got the beauty.mitch did her best but its not good, she got the beauty and body but not the voice.what is pda?is that a beauty contest or singing contest....so scholars next time choose the scholar who got the voice and not ur friend,after all ur not friends there coz ur in the competition,,,

the results from last saturday's performance made me feel so disgusted with the scholars. PDA is not about friendship. it's about competition! so why the hell didn't those idiot scholars eliminate mich? michelle's talent is next to nada compared to iya's singing prowess. i sincerely hope that mich will be the next one eliminated. there's no point in making her stay in the academy.
When Iya was voted out, it showed PDA is not really a talent show but politics and money played a big role. You may notice those foreign scholars are normally saved thru votes coz they have money to buy vote cards.... this is one area where ABS earn

Well, I'm not a big fan of Michelle nor Iya (I'm actually impressed and is a fan of Yvan). However, I agree with the other comments...It was Iya's time to go...We shouldn't blame the scholars for voting for Michelle... Yes, PDA is looking for talented individuals. However, it is a venue for honing complete and total performers...it's not just the singing prowess but the complete package... and that includes ATTITUDE and REGARD FOR OTHERS...Why do you think they put "life lessons" as part of their exams if they just want belters?!
We have PDA 24/7 here at LA and I get to watch a lot. Iya, sad to say, is too consumed with getting ahead with her fellow scholars that she missed out on little things...like treating others with honesty...and just taking time off to know her fellow scholars...she exuded doubt and jealousy...
I seriously doubt that michelle will win (just a reaction to Agnes of New Jersey's comment that "baka si Michelle pa ang manalo"). She doesn't have what it takes to win. But, between her and Iya, it's clear that she learned more (not just in singing and dancing, but in other aspects of her personality). She is a beautiful person inside & out, and her fellow scholars clearly see that.
Iya is a threat because she is beautiful and talented. She remained meek and quiet through the 'gising' incident which was blamed on her (as if it is her responsibility). The majority, especially the girls opted to keep the lesser of the two who they know will self-destruct anyway.

Well all I can say I was really really dissappointed sa PINOY DREAM ACADEMY as far as im concerened iya was in the top 5 during their midterms and due to scholars vote she was evicted for me giving the scholars a chance to vote their classmates is not a good impression coz as well all know "kampihan blues" yan and u'll save not who you think is good but your friend I thought scholars are given a lesson and 5% of that is LIFE LESSONS where is that 5% the scholars even don't know the meaning of that ask IRISH bout that do they really know how to compute their grades I don't think so! Iya deserves to stay but didn't have the opportunity LUTO ANG LABAN NAKAKAKHIYA mukhng pag harap sa stage, pagkanta at pagsayaw lang ang naituro pero ang aral sa buhay I GRADE THEM O
I'm no fan of any scholars of PDA but that 7th Expulsion Night made me "SICK". It's my first time to write a comment about any show because I really feel the need to voice out what I think is CORRECT. It's a good feeling to find out that I'm not the only one disgusted with what had happened last Saturday night. May I ask why Iya's grade was not shown last Sunday so the televiewers will know how she really fair with Mitch and the other scholars? And her last day with the academy short lang pinakita compared with the others who left. Parang unfair! Please correct me if my observation is wrong coz' I'm not an avid follower of the show because of my hectic sched. Also, may I say that Irish attitude last week when she got mad caught our attention. We're just wondering why Mr. Jim and the other teachers didn't do anything about it. In a real ACADEMY, they should have given her a written or oral warning or just a serious talk about it. Shouting the word "bitches" while we all know that she's only referring to one person and calling Iya a "fake" after the latter said sorry should not be tolerated. You have millions of televiewers & the scholars should be responsible with their behaviors. Youth look up on your show and they idolize some of the scholars. They should be a good example to others. We admire your show and we expect to see the proper action for this. Kung naipakita na sa 24/7 yung hinahanap namin, kindly air it on channel 2. We expect to see the proper action for this.As with the next Expulsion Night, sana mabigyan ng proper orientation ang mga scholars on what's the proper way of eliminating a probationary scholar para hindi na maulit ang nangyari last time.WE HOPE TO SEE WHAT WE THINK IS FAIR. Sana ibahin ng PDA management ang paraan ng pag-expell sa mga scholars... nag-susuffer tuloy ang quality at credibility ng show... nakakatamad panoorin na tuloy... maybe we go for ka-puso na siguro...
I don't know what happened,I wasn't able to watch that episode but eversince I started to watch PDD, I've always believed Iya has one of the best voices there and I expect her to be in the top six. I must say, sayang talaga sya- telegenic,very pretty probably even in person, may voice quality and she always shone in the the previous episodes.For me, naging unfair talaga ang decision ng mga scholars. Michelle is pretty as well but as to quality of voice, mas may quality ang kay Iya.At the same time, mas hirap si Michelle abutin at puntiryahin ang mga nota kadalasan kesa kay Iya. I wonder why the scholars did not see that. Strategy perhaps.We can't blame them though. Iya is definitely a threat. She just got unlucky but definitely, she did not deserve to go out of PDD. And even if she really had to , not that quick. Mas deserve ng iba na umalis ng mas maaga.I don't know Iya,I'm not even a friend pero I think she did not really deserve that decision.

Iya was definitely good that night. Actually a lot better than all of them. Don't you guys wonder why was the grade of Iya not revealed during 8th Nomination Night while the grades of the expelled scholars were shown previously and i bet you also noted that Chai's grade was shown last Sunday.
