8th Set of Probationary Scholars
Personally, the eighth batch of probationary scholars is a bit shocking for me. I believe that the four are among the strongest contenders in the Academy. Pero tulad nga ng sabi ni Headmaster Jim, sa showbiz, minsan nasa taas ka, minsan nasa baba.
Ronnie, Chai, Eman and Rosita, who was prenominated because of failing midterm grades, were the ones nominated for expulsion. Ironically, Ronnie and Eman were once Star Scholars and Chai got the highest midterm grades. For Rosita, this is her fourth nomination despite her exceptional delivery last gala night, so she should really focus hard in practicing for next Saturday.Honestly, if you would ask me, I don't even know who to vote for. This is going to be the hardest voting decision so far. I'd rather vote for the ones not nominated who are apparently "less superior" than the four. Pero siyempre, hindi naman pwede iyon. Oh well, bahala na kayo sa pagboto - the mechanics here. Vote wisely. ;P

Pwede bang si Michelle ang matanggal o dalawa sila ni Rosita? May nag-comment kasi dun sa isang entry? Here's his or her comment:
"If ever on saturday you will have 2 candidates could be possibly sent home???? As i analyzed it, rosita is in her fourth and also michelle(though she is not nominated for the week)because if both them got the lowest score in their performance this coming saturday they will be in their fifth nomination and could possibly go home.. Am i right on these observation??"
Deserving lahat ng nominated except Rosita. Kung di lang dahil dyan sa Midterms na yan, safe ulit itong si Rosita kasi performance nya ang the best last Saturday. PERO meron pa sanang mas deserving na manominate base sa performance last Saturday, like MICHELLE, Panky, and Chad for example. I love Michelle pero her performance of Love Moves...was a disaster I think. I also love Chad pero disaster din ang Bed of Roses nya. Panky I just did not like what she did with Bring Me To Life.
At least ung inaarte ni Eman last week na dapat sya ang manominate na sobrang OA ay natupad na. Hahaha! Actually OA sila Yvan, Irish, and Iya last week. Feeling di sila deserving manominate! Ha! Anong feeling nila sobrang gagaling na nila?! Bat pag itong si Rosita nominated d naman ganyan ang reaction. Dedma lang pero practice to the max. Palaban talaga ang lola mo.
Tama si Direk Joey.. Ronnie is becoming boring. Parang walang nagbago sa kanya. Magaling na syang kumanta pagpasok palang sa PDA pero ganun pa rin sya. Wala akong nakikitang spice sa kanya. "Masarap" lang syang tingnan sa TV. Hahaha! Sana Ronnie should get out of his shell and let it all out para gumanda performance nya.
Kay Chai, ironic na nominated sya, considering the fact na sya ang highest sa Midterms. Highest sa theories bagsak naman sa practicals. Ano ba un? Dapat since magaling ka sa theories dapat ma-apply mo sa practicals ung mga alam mo. I think we are not seeing the best Chai has yet to offer. Like Rosita, I think Chai has plenty more of room to grow and it's very exciting how they would grow.
That's what separates Rosita from the rest. Magagaling na ung ibang nasa loob ng PDA kaya nakakabore ng panoorin. Si Rosita every week, titigil ang paghinga mo every time magpeperform sya. Papalya ba sya o hindi? And that's exciting. That's entertainment. PAG NAWALA SI ROSITA, BORING NA ANG PDA, PROMISE!!!
sa apat na nominado, Rosita is the most deserving to be saved by the people, by the teachers, and by her fellow scholars. Un lang, bow!
i agree, rosita might not have the looks but kun talent pguusapan she's way more talented than the rest, specifically michelle!
the producers LIED of saving MITCH just bec. 2 sila ni rosita ang pede matanggal and they didn't want that, sympre to make the show run longer..

What a laugh. Kinda reminds me when we were young. Di ba pag naglalaro tayo ng mga "taguan", "taya", o maski ano pang pambata na laro. we would tend to change rules in the middle of the game..
parang PDA. they shouldve stick to what they announced in the beginning of the season. Aren't they smart enough to predict na pwedeng iluklok ng voters ang isang scholar na pinaka-banong kumanta pero gwapo o maganda?
para ring Philippine Idol. they have a similar problem. kung sino ang magagaling iyon ang natatanggal. kung sino ang mas gwapo pero mukhang lalanta-lanta, naiiwan. kung sino ang may perang pan-text, iyon ang mananalo. ngayon tuloy they limit the voting to just 2 hours from the 24 hours in the past weeks. para siguro maiwasan iyong buong barangay at buong pamilya ng contestant na bumuto. this ensures that only those who watched the show (thus the ones with "k" to tell who performed well)are the ones who will pinpoint who's the real winner.
para ring Philippine Politics. kung sinong artista. kung sinong charismatic. kung sinong magaling magsalita. sila ang nananalo. ano kaya solution? cha-cha? i don't know.

I guess that's the sad reality of life,we couldn't be fair all the time,they're times that people tend to be subjective, instead to be objective. Life kay gulo, kawawa Iya,but at the same time she made a graceful exit.On the other hand Irish is better than michelle,Irish has a good voice,si michelle wala talaga siya boses,i guess talaga nasal yun problem nya from the start.
Excuse me Direk Joey, kung si Rosita PANGIT rin lang ang magrerepresent sa OFW, Ayaw na naming patawag na OFW, KADIRI.

Someday, i cant make some COMMENTS about ROSITA. CHAI has beautiful voice, why is she the nominated not ROSITA, thats not fair to us. ROSITA has a SINTONADO voice.
If I am the DIRECTOR there, I will nominate ROSITA and KICK OUT her, she does not belong to PDA.

Kay Anonymous na nagsasabing PANGIT si Rosita... isa lang masasabi ko syo. Sana kagandahan ka, dahil ang lakas ng loob mong magsabi ng salitang PANGIT. Kung kagandahan ka nga, sana hwag kunin ni Lord yang kagandahan mong masama naman ang budhi. Maganda ka nga, pangit ka pa rin!!! At regarding sa hindi matatalo talo ng ABS ang GMA. I don't believe that. Mas maraming commercials ang ABS, that means mas maraming sponsors at alam ng mga sponsors na maraming nanonood. Tsaka kaya lang naman #1 ang GMA ayon sa survey nila ay dahil sa mga low class at hindi marunong mag-appreciate ng art sila nagsusurvey. Kung quality ng palabas lang naman ang titingnan, ABS ang angat. Gaya-gaya lang naman ang GMA noh!
bigyan lang kita ng isang example. sinimulan ng ABS ang Marina, isang fantaserye. Aba ang GMA, d na tumigil sa kakagawa ng fantaserye. Grabe!
at sino lang ba ang artista ng GMA? si angel locsin lang at richard gutierrez! the rest ni hindi ko nga kilala e. hahaha!
si ronnie nadisqualify sa isang show ng GMA dahil may manager daw. sinalo ng ABS kasi alam ng ABS na may talent si Ronnie. Ayun may patalastas ang GMA sa bago nilang reality competition show na ok na daw ngayon kung may manager ka o wala. ano ba un?! hahaha!
may aaminin ako syo.. pag nalulungkot ako... nanonood ako sa GMA kasi matatawa ka sa mga shows nila at mga artista... parang isang take lang lahat.. kahit obvious na nagkamali ung artista. ang cheap!!!
bakit ganon.. ung contestants ng Pinoy Big Brother at PDA sikat na sikat pero ang mga winners at runners up ng Starstruck at kung ano pang pacontest ng GMA e ni hindi kilala. sino sa tingin nyo ang mas pinapanood ng tao kung ganon.
Pinoy Dream Academy pa rin ang the best!!!! ABS-CBN pa rin ang the best!!! And last but not the least, ROSITA GO GO GO!!!! Hwag mo silang pansinin... Sige na aminin na natin na d ka kagandahan... pero magaling ka... itayo mo ang bandila ng mga taong d kagandahan na gusto pa ring mangarap!!!!

I actually don't care kung cno sa kanila matanggal (pero if i had to choose: si chai i-sasave ko) coz feeling ko d cla makakaabot ng top 6 (pwede si chai pero mukhang ma-o-overpower siya ng kung cno man ang nasa- top 6). and stop it about iya kasalanan niya rin naman kung bakit siya na-out (dapat na-convince niya rin fellow scholars). I mean paano siya sisikat? magaling nga siya pero it's not all about talent it's also about personality. This is an ACADEMY, meaning learning should be both theoritical and practical. What's the use of having a Midterm Exam if they will not consider it anyway?
I know she wasn't able to give much justification to the song "BALIW" but the performance isn't bad at all. I think they should have considered her being the heighest in the exam.

DIGUSTING!!! The program saved Rosita because it is vying for the masa patronage. How could it be said that she has internalized the teachings when she got the lowest grade during the mid term evaluation. Performance wise she is not any better than the others specially Chai. I lost a lot of respect for the professionalism of Jim Paredes. He has prostituted himsel for the sake of ratings.
What's the matter with the professors? They are trying something which does not fit in the academy. It is like showing that they (ABSCBN) would like to be talked about what they can do with a DH.
