Finally, after about 4 months, the Honor List of Six has been named. They are, in no particular order, Jay-R, Chad, Yeng, Ronnie, Panky, and Irish.Unfortunately, the crooner of Baguio, Yvan, and the Jukebox Queen Rosita of Dubai, got the lowest votes from the texter.
On the Grand Dream Night this Saturday in Araneta Coliseum, these six will compete for the Grand Star Scholar and fulfill her/his dreams. A singing contract, a Belgian Waffle franchise, and condo unit are just some of the stuffs he/she will go home with.

I don't like the voting for PDA. The teachers' and jurors' votes should count as well. They know more about singing and preforming than we do and the more talented ones are more likely to stay in, like Yvan! He shouldn't have been expelled because he's very good at singing and preforming. He should have gotten into the Honor List of Six! I hope they change the voting system if they have another season because they should.
The last expulsion night is very depressing. Irish or Chad should go but not Yvan. He's one of the best singer, performer and composer. Teachers should vote too instead of just texters because they are the one who spend time with the students. They can see who really deserved to be the top 6. Buti si Rosita naalis na. She can only sing juke box songs at hindi siya makakanta ng English. Si Yvan lahat nakaya niya. He's the one who really needs to stay!!! Please change the voting system next PDA season.

there's no doubt about Yvan's great talent but you guys have to understand he is not marketable and thus have little star quality. Stop whining also, if you guyz really want him to win all you guys have to do is spend money to vote for him. But since you guys are kuripot then you should all shut up...so there you have it! the result of your final expulsion is very disgusting!you relied to texters who obviously don't know how to choose the rightful ones to be left.Yvan one of the talented scholars deserved to be chosen but just because of texts which involves MONEY, he was expelled...the next time you conduct this kind of talent search,make sure the teachers have the "say" coz there is no such ACADEMY that gives grades from the viewers/people thus the teachers have the final decision!!!!
It's so disappointing what happened last night expelled si YVAN.pinapakita lang PDA management na after sila sa pera & not the TALENT.sabagay,that's business.binabawi lang nila ang nagastos pero pano naman yung may TALENT na walng pera to buy all the text votes diba.PDA is like Philippine IDOL.It's all about money that makes their bussiness progress.

PDA management -What the hell are you doing with your PDA scholars.We thought,this is an academy of TALENTED students but what happened?Was the rules initiated prior to start the academy? Kung ganito rin lang ang systema na paramihan ng votes dapat inalam mo na nila ang katayuan sa buhay ng mga scholars para di masayang ang mga TALENTS ng mga walang pera.

I'm contented of what the results was, last night's final expulsion. We all know that all the remaining 8 scholars are really good, i'm sorry for yvan and rosita, they are really good performers. Though we all know that Yeng will be crowned in the grandfinals as the star grand dreamer. I hope for Chad and Irish to be the runner-ups, but this is impossible. My guess are Jay-r or Ronnie, because they over rule the hearts of filipinas, and though Panky is also a good performer. We still support Irish and Chad- global dreamers! We wish you all the luck, "Honor List of Six".

Let's say she'll make it. ok, that's because of the text votes BUT not because sya ang pinakamagaling. Is there such an academy that is run by text votes? definetely, none! ACADEMY...meaning, base on performances and grades given by the mentors.
When I was watching the TOP 6 in their respective "STARS" in the stage, something is missing. It did not shine the way it should. I feel bad that ABS-CBN leveled Yvan with Rosita. Little star quality and not marketable??? Duh!!! What do you know about marketing??!! And excuse me!!! I voted for Yvan. I spent almost $50 for Yvan.. My husband spent $24.. And all my relatives here in Daly City voted for Yvan too!!! So i don't think the results are credible. Yvan got 8000 votes from our family alone.. WHAT HAPPENED???? I was so shocked. I think Yvan really deserves to be in the TOP 6. ABS-CBN should realize that they should give the viewers real entertainment by choosing real talents. But I am sure that this is just the beginning of Yvan's promising career. We'd like to hear his songs over the radio soon. Congrats Yvan!! It was indeed a very disappointing result of the PDA's Honor List of Six. If you have to compare Yvan and Rosita's talents to those of Ronnie and Irish, you can distinguish voices with high quality than those voices with a "PILIT" one. Irish's has a nasal singing voice; on the other hand, ronnie is not an all-around kind of singer and even if he is singing his master piece kind of music, it has low energy. This result simply shows that Filipinos have this corruptness within us. We all know what is right but we still have to go to the left just to satisfy our wants than needs. I thought the Pinoy Dream Academy is a battle of singers and not a battle of beauties or singles. This is like voting for our politicians. Sure, the two may already have their own singing career, but we are crowning and hailing the undeserving ones.

I'm sorry Yvan got booted out, so disappointing. I know PDA was created based on the concept of LA ACADEMIA of Mexico with a twist as far as format and voting regulations. I'm an avid follower of AMERICAN IDOL here in the U.S. as well. I can't avoid comparing these shows. I strongly feel there is something wrong on the system of voting or else the right deserving PDA dreamer wouldn't get what is due him or her. I'm know Yvan is still a winner, recording contract awaits him and a sell out!
Yes, I don not believe that all those six( maybe some of them
yes,like Yeng) really voted by the mass per se. Why? Because, the
family could do a lot, like if they have a better purchasing power
to load prepaid cards to vote, buy voting cards etc..then surely
their schoolars would be on the top. However, it doesn't necessarily
means that they have a mass appeal and people really decided to let
them win. If you are going to analyze the range of votes of eight
scholars it was a close fight. The outcome shouldn't be like this if
really the mass intervened in choosing who among the eight must be
on the headmasters’ honor list. It must be a miles away from each
other, as it were; looking back the votes difference among PBB I can
say that the one who won really was chosen by the people; therefore,
votes in PDA were just maximized by relatives & family votes. Not
with mass votes.
When it comes to Rosita, yes her supporters backed her-up, the
problem the family is not well to do compared to other scholars,
they do not have huge means to buy votes for her that could lead her
to top six.
I can say that PDA is more of money rather than talent
competition.
The fact that in the Middle East, only UAE were given a chance to
vote via texting and other should undergo a lot of complicated
procedures to participate in voting is mainly an unfair treatment to
competition.
I only watched PDA because of Rosita, now that she is out, PDA is
out in my life too but not Rosita.

Going over posted comments on PDA, natatawa ako talaga. Some are rude and with character assasination, hahahaha! I think PDA's rules in voting should be changed, abot pa naman dito sa Amerika. My heart goes to real talents that were not given the fair chance due to your flawed voting system. It's obvious that a few expelled dreamers are better off than some of the six finalist. I wish PDA would consider "total package" in selecting participants next season, talent and pesonality combined. May the right dreame win!

I'm not a fan of Rosita pero na touched ako nuong umiyak siya. Maybe, naaawa ako,kulang siya sa suporta ng mga Ilocanos, umiral ang pagkakuripot ng marami. Hindi rin siguro bebenta ang record kung sakali, pang masa appeal niya especially sa mga "bakya". Somehow nakilala siya in some ways, I still wish her luck in her endeavors.

i am sure abs-cbn has calculated the flak they will be receiving after the disappointing turn of events during the final expulsion night. this is afterall the dream academy, where even nightmares are possible.
i hope the audience will have learned their lesson if ever the next season comes along. either stay away from watching PDA or expect looks to count more than talent.
the PDA is nothing more than a local elementary school holding a popularity pageant to raise money.
it is quite sad especially because the producers went to great lengths to get the best teachers, jurors,etc. to train the scholars only to end up wasting the better talents they have developed.
please rethink your format and mission in upgrading the level of your audience.
Yvan is really talented in all aspect,mapasinging,dancing and composing.Besides,here you are dealing in talent then why are did they depend on the voting scheme since we all know that when it comes to voting all those who has looks normallly wins,besides may looks naman si Yvan.Dapat sa later part eh sinali nila ang jurors or teachers 'coz the scholars are there to show their talents.Talent ang pinag-uusapan hindi popularity.PDA people should change their judging scheme.

I was glad that JR, Chad and Yeng made it to the Headmaster’s Honor List of Six. But when Yvan’s name was announced as the first of the two expelled scholars, I was disappointed. True that he is not as tall and as good looking as Ronnie, or he doesn’t have foreign blood like Irish, but the last time I check, PDA is not a beauty contest, IT IS A TALENT SEARCH. And without a doubt, Yvan got lots of it. The guy can sing and dance well, even better than the other scholars who got in. In fact if I remember it right, he only got nominated once, while some prayed every week just to be saved by the text votes. He also became star scholar for the week, meaning he got the highest score from the jurors who know very well what singing is all about. Yvan should have that one spot along side JR and Yeng; he deserves to perform in the big dome on Dec. 16 as one of them, Yvan BELONGS to the Headmaster’s Honor List of Six. Last night, he took his final bow as he sang his version of Goo goo dolls’ Iris. He sang with all his heart, showing the world that this is not the end for him, but only the beginning. Some people may not believe in him, but he will prove them wrong. And as he continues to love music and fulfill his dreams, there will always be a place for him on top of the stars. So to Yvan, here’s one round of applause for you for a job well done.

To those who dislike Panky to be included in the Final 6 is pretty damned and idiot. You doesn't know what is music. Most likely you are in tune with recitation of poems. I admit Yvan's expulsion is something to be sorry. I love his voice very much. Siya ang pinaka gusto ko. Kahilira silang tatlo ni Jay-r at Panky. Kung sino man sa kanila ang manalo sana, walang tulak kabigin. They are all winners in their own right for truly music resides in their system. Hindi kagaya mong nag-comment na walang alam sa tinatawag nilang M-U-S-I-K-A.
Hindi hambog si Panky at hindi nagyayabang ng kanyang boses at talento. She might be frank at mapang-asar na tao but she herself admitted that she likes Rosita. She's a star in her own right beign chosen several times as the Star Scholar for the Week. She is the sole PDA scholar voted only one time for expulsion. She's one of the top in the Ranking. Attitude wise, maari siyang sumablay but she's very transparent with her feelings. Yong iba kasi, magaling magtago ng kanilang baho pero unti-unti na ring lumalabas. To you PANKY, ayaw gyud ug kahadlok nila. GO, GO, GO.
I feel sorry to the fate of Yvan. Gustong gusto ko si Yvan. Silang tatlo ni Jay-r at Panky ang pinakagusto ko. I don't like Yeng's voice pero total performer siya.
Sayang din si Joan Ilagan at si Iya na na-expelled. I love the quality of their voice.
To Panky's detractors, mirror yourself first what is right and what is proper in this kind of competition where it is not the only voice and the talent that counts. Text votes ang parameters nila and since Panky is there, it shows no matter what the attitude of Panky is, they still voted her. Alamin mo kung ano ang rason?
Could you explain what “bakya” is? (And Mr or Miss Alaska Rosita is not BAduy).Because if it has a cheap connotations and you said that Rosita is for bakya only, then, I neither consider myself as a bakya nor baduy of (Alaska), it means Rosita has appeal in all level of society . What society do you belong people? Because I consider myself and people who knows me that I belong to a decent level of society. Would you people stop degrading others? If you support your bet scholar in PDA, then fine people, stop mumbling about Rosita. If she sails in the horizon of wavy and cruel sea of show business then I am sure people who love her will support her. She doesn’t need the backing of all people who hates her. Anonymous 111 of Dubai. I am from Jeddah Showing your emotions is not immaturity and toples sensibility,even in front of any one. I rather put plus points in Rositas' performance last saturday. Though she was almost overpowered by her emotions she finished her song with dignity. Rosita's total personality and contribution to PDA is a breakthrough in any prestigious competition where like Manny Valera said "rich and beautiful reigns" in the entertaintment arena in our country. We always look up to the outside appearance and ones status in life rather than the talent of that person, we always discriminates people who doesn't look pretty in our eyes, or cannot much the standard the society gives. For all hypocrites, elevating themselves from other people by defaming others watchout, from the scale you weigh people is the same scale other people weigh you.

If there's one person to be a star dreamer that's probably Panky. Why? We're talking about talent, definitely she has it/them. Most of us confuse her as a striving Rakista, but her style is very different. She's in possession of versitile talents with the ability to synthesize them into forms difficult to define. The question is, "Are we filipinos ready for that genre?" I guess not, isn't a time for us to embrace new style, new talent? Why can't we like and appreciate songs that have deep thoughts, with underlying meaning rather than songs about relationship dilemmas? That is such a worn out genre, songs with deep thoughts are usually sophisticated and better written.
We may not like her as an artist because of her attitude, but attitude is a feeling, she simply shows her feeling. We may think she's arrogant, but then some arrogance always go along with talent the two seem to go hand in hand. She is blunt, but it's not a reason to assassinate her character. Those scholars who seem to humble themselves are just acting.

The PDA is simply a manifestation that Filipino people are easily fooled by corrupt and irresponsible media. PDA is an academe. It is not a beauty contest nor a popularity contest. In a university, you do not get an honors because your classmates voted for you. It is the teachers that gave you the grades and makes you a real scholar with honors. Walang pinagkaiba and PDA sa Election, when corrupt officials buy votes to win.. So kahit d magaling, kahit na d deserving, they still get the post. I feel bad for the teachers, jurors and all the people who believed in the credibility and integrity of PDA especially to Ms. Kitchie Molina. She is from a well known academe, respected and commended. It is a big slap on her face to see that the academe she supported is just an enormous CRAP. I think Cebuanos are going to split their votes between Jay R and Panky. And this might not bode well for both scholars (in terms of aiming for the top 3 spots). If one of them was ousted last Saturday, the other one gets all of Cebuano votes. That scholar might have been the grand star dreamer. Malaki ang block vote ng Cebu, pero maspi-split ito. The key is to give all of your vote to only for 1 scholar. If you vote for multiple scholars, you cancel your own vote. Good Luck sa kanilang lahat.

Well that is life. Something tells me that. It was a total ughh(disappointment).
Something also tells the general audience that there was indeed something wrong in the system(stinks like a rotten dead corpse!) The format of voting should have been for the voters to choose whom they think is their top 6(quota) not basing on popularity(one vote only for star scholar of choice) thus being subjective in a way. They should adopt a system that would have been percentage of somesort like 60% would made by the texter vote and 40% from the jurors grade or whatever percentage you want and in that way there is indeed objectivity and fairness in making a decision of choosing,
unfortunately there wasn't any.
Well basing on what the public general perception and response in forums, They seem to understands this and ask for some revisions. I don't know if the organizers and planners are just plain callous or are they thinking otherwise( "interest" not in the agenda of PDA of what it should stand for a "Talent Contest"). Some scholar/s whom most of the viewers think is/are "deserving" were definitely victims of this sloppy system.(I would not mention anymore who they are).The audience will always remember that. I think i have said enough.I am only a mere voice here. So what do you care? I hope you do....
